Default Gasket Question

Is there supposed to be a gasket from the plenum to the intake manifold?

There was not one there when I removed my stock plenum yesterday.

not sure, but google search an exploded view of the engine, should be easy to find. ok, i didnt see one, here is a link to look for yourself
