Default NEW EDGE GT 350 H

I'm psyched, I'm having my Black '04 GT painted with Shelby style gold stripes like a '65 GT 350 H. I was going to do a Mach one style shaker, but was turned off by the weight of the assembly, its got to be 25lbs. I saw two at the Ford nationals at Carlisle PA, Ford OEM or the aftermarket setup, both $500. (both, EXCELLENT DEALS) I decided to go for bling, instead of Zing. It's tough, there is alot of black new edge stangs where I live, I need something to set mine apart from the rest of the "herd". Hey BTW, do you know if they make the rear bumper Highlight letters in gold?

I am pretty sure there are inserts in gold, you'll just have to search around for them

(actually, im quite sure there are, i've laughed at them before thinking they were dumb, but i guess in your application, they'd make PERFECT sense)

how long do you think this is all going to take? couple months? few weeks?

P.S. if you dont post pictures upon completion, im sure plenty of us will find where you live and post pictures of your sleeping wife propped up next it [8D]

that'd be cool to have a gt-h clone of the new one but on a new edge

To hell with the inserts man. Since your having them paint the rest of the car, tell them to paint the letters in. That way you know it will match and you wont worry about having them peel off or anything.

Hey that's a GREAT IDEA! Painted inserts! I'm taking the car back to CT (from VA) to my buddy, he's a hot rodder, English teacher, and phenominal painter (since 1967). I just have to wait till school gets out, I'll be briging it up to him father's day weekend, should have it back for the 4th. But my buddy is crazy fussy, my Ranchero which he painted (base/clear Mercedes black) is like a mirror, so I don't rush him. It will be nice to have a New Edge rendition of an old theme. I like the new car ('05-'06), but something about the "edge " styling just appeals to me, they look so evil when lowered. I will post pictures when I get it back. Thanks for the approval!
