Default Trying to get 300rwhp

From all the posts ive read and the results from different parts....Would it be pretty difficult to get to 300rwhp on a pre 99 gt w/o a supercharger or nitrous? It just seems that people dont get 300rwhp often without going with a supercharger or nitrous....please correct me if im wrong, im a newbie at this.

You are correct. Full bolt on with cams might get you close, but doubt it'll push the actual 300 mark.

Seems to me that its a lot easier just controlling ur impulses and save up the cash to buy a supercharger...I think im going to take that path seems much easier.

I think with a PI swap, full boltons (u/d pulleys, Lts, X, catback, full intake boltons) cams, a electric water pump and a GREAT tune might get ya there.

If not, so long as you have a good tune you will be pretty dammed close, say 295~

Good tune? Is a "good tune" the key to getting there? And do gears increase your rwhp?

a tune is everything. no gears only help acceleration they do not give hp.
