Default Directions on 4.10's

okay...4.10's are in. I had a buddy that was gonna do it for me, but then realized that my rear end was 8.8' and thought it was 9' somethin'. And he decided not to play doctor on my car and try to wing it, cuz he said it looks quite a bit different. Is there any directions out there that i could see or buy or whatever i have to do to get em in..

i talked to a ford tech today and he said that setting the shims for the rear end is not that difficult, it's just you have to take your time and do it right

My suggestion, if you do not know exactly how to do it, take it somewhere.. The last thing you want is a bad install and then having them whine.

you need a dial indicator and feeler gauges at the least as well, and a torque wrench, and patience

i've seen them done... and OMG does a LIFT make a world of difference
