Default Stripped nut problem

Hey guys, I stripped a nut while trying to uninstall my factory H-Pipe. I stripped the nut that connected the H-Pipe to the headers. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get that nut off? Thanks!

Nope haven't tried that. I'll have to go pick them up. Thanks though, I've never heard of them.

they are a life saver, make sure to rethread the stud before you try again. bolt size is 3/8.

Hold on, let me find a link to my last thread about this. I got like 47 replies. They gave some great poiners. I had to take it to a shop though...

Ahh, here we are. https://mustangforums.com/m_1458105/tm.htm

What did you rethread it with, and did you have the same problem with your midpipes?

No prob.

I didnt get that damn bolt off until 3 days later. It pissed the hell outta me. I know how you prolly feel bro. They had to remove the whole stud and replace it with a new nut for mine. I tried the boltout stuff and it didnt work for me. Thats only cuz that nut was practically destroyed already. I here PB Blaster works wonders.
