Default 99-04 t-tops

why wasnt t-tops an option from the factory for the 99-04's? the damn trans ams and camaros just look so sexy rolling around with the tops off. ive been looking to have this done and cant find anywhere that does it [:@].

Probably structral reasons......plus I think it looks like poo. Its a way for the mullet people to let their hair blow in the breeze.

omg STFU hating on the f-bobys and those who drive them, dont u retards get it that without the f-bodys all those years the mustang would be even worse and SLOWER then it is now becuz it wouldnt hav had any main competitor to try and keep up with. So if anything you should enjoy and be thankful for the f-bodys. ( plus they give you something decent to race rather then wasting your time with ricers)

no offense but i think convertibles look like wagons with the tops up. t-tops give best of both worlds.

What the hell are you talking about? He didn't say anything about F bodied cars. He said mullet and you said F body. Hmm, interesting. Besides, Mustangs have been offered in the past with T-tops. '79 and '84 I've seen, and I'm sure there are other years.

There is an aftermarket option I'm doing next year. It's a targa top. Full center section removable hardtop. Check it out.

http://jmsproductsinc.com/ click on JMS Mustang Targa System in the left window and then you can view them.

i'm sure that it was because the t-tops would intrefear with the convertibles sales for ford. i read an article on it a while back.
