Default Why does my car seem slower after getting my exhaust done, reason?

My 2002 GT was stock until I got my exhaust done the other day. I got 2.5" with an x pipe, magnaflow mufflers, and 3" tips. Just seems to be sluggish to me. Any reason as to why?

Alot or actually most of the time when you free flow the exhaust, you lose TQ and TQ is what you feel over HP. I wouldn't worry about it. I had the same thing happened when I dumped my exhaust, I actually gained quite a few ponies but lost a butt load of TQ.

I had a magnaflow catted X with slp`s and my car was ok. Then I went to a catted H with flows and my car felt like it had much more power. The X pipes are supposed to give you more power up top, H pipes give you more power down low. But they both are pretty much the same throughout the powerband. After my experience, I prefer an H with chambered mufflers. By the way. chambered mufflers (IMO) sound better than the straight through ones.
