Default Well, I am finally getting it narrowed down

After TONS of research, I have finally narrowed down my new nitrous system. It will either be a 2 stage with management system. I will have a 50hp shot out of the hole at WOT, then a 1 1/2 second delay until the second stage kicks in with a 125hp shot also at WOT.

OR, a first gear lockout with a 175hp shot at WOT in second gear and on.

Whatcha think??

When you spray off the line, you think we are talkin about lifting the tires off the ground? cause that would be badass.

i know little to nothing about drag racing but correct me if im wrong, in any type of race getting out of the hole fast is really really important so i figure id want that 50 shot for the beginning and then the 125 shortly after.

I'm not an expert on this but it seems like the results would be the same. With one you get out of the hole faster and the other one, once out of the whole you would be moving faster. But the 1st gear lockout one seems to be the best. because maybe you can launch harder.
1st gear=390rwhp, 2nd & 3rd=465rwhp
or
1st=340rwhp, 2nd & 3rd 515rwhp

I dont know try both and see which is better!!
Then tell us so we have more envy.LOL. J/K.

id go more than a 125 shot max for what you have.... unless you plan on testing it and upping it 150 plus later on? do you still have the stock tranny in there, i cant remember? id say your motor is good for atleast a 200 shot easy... but dont push it and blow it like the last motor with the 175 shot... haha.

I like the first idea better, just seems more logical to me as long as you're gonna be able to hook on the launch. But your second idea doesnt sound bad either.......either way your car is gonna run like a raped ape down the track

Because of your two step tune i dont know what would be best. Is there such thing as a neutral lock out on nitrous? If not I would go with the 1st gear lockout. Just because I dont know how the two step be would since your already be at wot when staged

I do like your first ideal of the 2 stages, 50 off the line and thend 125 a second and a half later. With this option would give you a little more options. You can always drop the 1st stage to 25, or can always raise it to 75. Same with the 2nd stage, you can always raise it or move the enagement of the 2nd stage around. Only thing is it will take more work to get it dialed in perfect. Does the kit your looking at turn the 1st stage off when the 2nds stage comes on.

No, the first stage will stay activated when the second stage hits.
