RE: DANG Reverse!!!!!
my car was bought brand new, and it did it since day one too. Alot of time when u try to put it in reverse, it feels like it just will not go, and if u push any harder it feels like somethings about to bend. I talked to the dealership about it on the first service it had, and they said Ford put that "feature" in their to prevent shifting to reverse on the freeway. They said just shift into third then fourth, then try it, and itll work. it usually works for me, and i was getting really pissed off when it started happening.

Yeah, it is definitely a safety feature. Imagine somebody who drove a 6 speed their entire life (let's say, a Cobra), and was on the freeway in a GT. They try to put it into "6th" on a GT transmission to save gas...
Yeah, you catch my drift. (No pun intended)
Usually, for an added safety measure, you really gotta slam that thing into reverse, whether its a five or a six speed. It isn't supposed to feel like any other gear.
