i went to bassani's website and they don't even have an offroad x pipe for my 2004 s281sc. it says the part doesn't even exhist next to 2004 4.6 2v?? anyone know where i can get it?? i know they make it my friend has got the same pipes with mac mufflers.

get the x - pipe with the high flow cats. it also comes with race pipes so you can swap out the cats. i have it, its great!

whats cool about my bassani like others is that it bolts right up to your stock manifolds and if in the future if you feel the need, you can unclamp a section for long tubes is that sweet or what.

i just installed my catted x pipe from bassani. it went together pretty easily for me being by myself on my back on the garage floor with the car on jackstands. i got some tightening up to do on it but so far i like it.

i also have bassani mid length headers to be installed when i sell my rims. then later will be a borla stinger catback.

OFFROAD X-PIPE

CATTED X-PIPE

As stated above the stainless systems come in a 5 pc. Your best bet is the stainless catted x-pipe. You are getting 2 x-pipes in 1......
Meaning you can take out the cats and clamp in the off-road legs and visa-versa. Also, if you ever decide to run the Bassani mid-length
headers, they will only work with the s.s. x-pipe. Now with the 04" stang you will also have to get o2 harness extenders. No big deal there.
