compression testing? how many psi...
i just compression tested my car... all of the cylinders read between 160-175. the car has 35k miles on it.... is my compression reading about right where it should be?

Key thing is lowest cylinder must be within 75% of highest. Take your highest cylinder pressure divide it by 4, take that number and subtract again from your highest number, your lowest cylinder reading must be ABOVE that number. My son had an '94 V-6 with 116K miles, that baby only varied 2lbs between high and low cylinders. Amazing!
