Never heard of this before. I guess it doesn't matter anyway if you have a aftermarket clutch with adjuster and quadrant

I used to have a 94 GT with a 5spd and it was the same. One night my clutch got really loose so I pulled the pedal backwards and it adjusted. I believe all 5spd mustangs have this from like 94 to 04 (not shure) If you look onder neath the dash where your padals are you can see some gears and springs attached to the top of the pedals this is the adjustment mechanism described here. Anyway, I know for shure that it is there because I later put a Quadrand adjuster and new cable from UPR and you have to remove the mechanism for it to install. Hope this helps.

Ok....my clutch had been slippin pretty bad and my throw out bearing had been rattling pretty good so i figured id give it a shot...so i went out to the car and pulled on the clutch pedal and heard a loud click...almost like a snap of broken plastic...oh **** what have i done(and since im dump i tried to keep pulling but only got one click outta her)... so i start her up to go for a drive. HOLY SH!TE...the clutch now grabs RIGHT off the floor, i can actually chirp second, and the throwout bearing doesnt rattle anymore! haha im victorious!!!

(i prob sound like im being paid to advertise this crap....)

if stock you adjust with the peddal the qudrant has a gear type thing if it needs it will set pull up then push it down i avoided that by getting firewall adjuster and adjustable cable and two notch qaudrant all by steeda love it you can adjust it to you liking but be careful to much youll wear down your clutch to little it wont open all the way making it hard to shift gears
