so i went to Just Tires today and they said they couldnt fit 275/40 on my 96 GT rim, i thought people do this **** all the time son the forums? i mean it looked pretty tight but I thought it could be done. anyone else have trouble getting 275 mounted on stock rims

I have 275 40s on my stock GT rims....

I was told at one shop they would not mount a 315 under my car because it won't fit, but there were plenty of other places that were willing to.

Is there a sams club around your area? Or something like that? Get online and buy the tires, and then just take em in and have them install em. don't make a issue of size or anything, just give em the keys and tires and tell em to put them on.

even my 2000 GT now has an MT et street 275/40 on stock rims............. **** tell them just fit them on[>:]
