hmm... after all the helpful posts, and that nice picture of your hand, i think ill leave the headers. Im ordering my exhaust within a week and a half, and its gonna be installed by the end of june. I know shorties pretty much suck, and i wish i could get LT's, but its not worth the cost/ my own time to switch em out at this point. Im already gonna pay 530 for a catted MRT H Pipe, and just under 600 for Stingers... The headers cost can go to gears i guess

Insane!! 530 bucks for a mid pipe?? You gotta be crazy.

Edit: It will also be a cold day in hell before I pay 600 bucks for a aftercat system for mustang GT.

What made your mind up on these two?

I know i know, it sounds insane on both prices, especially to think my stock midpipe is a catted h ...lol. My usernames are new on both this sight and mustangexhaust, but ive been lurking since about october... Ive heard pretty much every exhaust on the internet for my car, but ive only heard a few in person. This ridiculously priced set up sounded the best to me. i know some o/r xpipe with a magnapack or something is like 850, but everything now sounds raspy to me... flows sound wierd and i would never want them, lm1... ya right.. lm2 and slp o/r x is my next choice, and i used to like magnapacks more than i do now. I was gonna order the slp's the day i heard the stingers with the mrt, but it made me hesitate... after i looked into prices, i wanted to cry.

If your heart is set on the stingers just get em and a good midpipe. 550 bucks for 2 cats and less than 10 feet of 2.5" mandrel bent pipe is a rape!

thats what ive been saying to myself, but every other combo out their with stingers sounds raspy and bad. Catted or o/r x, uncatted h, they all make it rasp like dam lm1s. i think i either have to pay out the *** for the set up i want, or pay less and get lm2's with the o/r x pipe.
