what about the tko transmisions, i have heard good things about them, but do not know if everything will bolt up
The TKO is the shiz. The only bad thing about the TKO is it only has 5 gears

It shifts 100 times better than any stock 5spd I have ever used though, and it's definatly stronger than the T-56. The TKO is definatly one of the things I have no second thoughts about, I would do it over if I had to.

The TKO will bolt up, but you will need a new belhousing and depending on what model you get, a new clutch/yoke.

I ended up getting a belhousing, flywheel, clutch, yoke, driveshaft, clutch quadrant and adjuster, and the TKO 500.

BTW, if you are really interested give D@D performance a call. They will be able to get ya everything you need. They were very helpful with my swap.

I think if you go the t-56 route, you need a shorter driveshaft, a new crossmember and adapter, a 31-spline yoke, and i'm not sure what other misc parts you will need. Its rated at 450 ft/lb, so the TKO would be a much better choice for high hp needs.
