right now im in american iron but im about to drop the 5 liter cammer motor in and run in AIX. im in the texas region.

NASA cost alot of money to race in. he with the deepest pocket always wins.

i was qouted $9500 for the bbs rk wheels and tires i ended up going with CCW wheels
I think your going to need stronger motor for AIX than that cammer motor. I havent looked at the rule book for 2006 but in 2005 there was no horse power or torque limit... But AI is something like 1hp per 9.5lbs. and 1ft. lb. per 9lbs. if I remember correctly. Thats probably more competative just loose some weight of the front of your car and get it as close as possible as you can to as much power to weight as you can. Plus AIX the limit is like 13" wide rims in the back, AI you can still use the stock wheel wheels.. AI I can see some what affordable, AIX your going to be spending alot of money trying to be the top dog. Plus I still dont think there giving out any trophy money. Its just amatuer racing, its not a career. YOu dont make any money off of it. I just wanted to do it for fun.

CCW are nice wheels, the corba R's that you have an I have are pretty light for the price. I got mine for $505 shipped to my door and the fronts weight 24lbs. and the rears 29lbs. pretty light for $100 a wheel. If I where you, get an old lincoln mark 8 take that motor its the same motor as 96-98 cobras except the intake manifold. That Aluminum block was made by the same manufacturer as Ferarri, it can handle 1500hp. Have that motor machined and put a new rotating assembly in, either a high compression NA motor or for forced induction. Then get the tubular k-member and A arms. carbon fiber hood, you will save like 240lbs. off the front end. I see you have a cobra already, you may already have the perfect motor. I dont know what you got in there but you would already be set. You can get a mean motor for 14k. Dont wast your money on a crate motor. Your going to race it so you already voided the warrenty. Tell me your set up....

Damn you got one damn nice car. Frankly the nicest car on this forum. I dont car for drag racing, road racing is my heart it. Good for you.. You have some mightly deep pockets!!! Sounds like a real nice setup. Im suprised your not using a 3 link rear suspension, and keeping the 4 link. I have such horrible traction, with a 4 link. I am getting a torque arm, coil overs and watts link, next on my car.
