Default Oil Pan Seal

I'm about to replace factory clutch with King Cobra kit bought off Jeg's and while im at it im thinkin of replacing the oil pan seal. It looks to be getting old and i want to avoid larger problems. It is a 1984 1/2 model. (Yep 20th Ann. Ed. HB carb.) I'm wondering if the engine has to be lifted to change the seal or if theres another way. Also any other hints and tips for clutch replacment will be appreciated!!

Default RE: Oil Pan Seal

i have no idea how it will be on your car.... but on mine, with my trans out to do the clutch, the engine was much easier to lift to do my oil pan gasket...
