I know that both engines have 32V and both have DOHC but does the Mach1 have a forged crank, hypereutectic cast alloy
pistons, and center-forged alloy rods like the Cobra? I wondering because I've been thinking about buying a Mach1 but I want it to have an engine as good as the Cobra. And does anybody know if the Mach1 is pretty much as fast as the Cobra?

The mach 1 has a forged crank and thats all thats forged. The cobra has everything forged. The cobra is supercharged...so its not as fast as the Cobra. stock rating 305 for mach 1 and 390 for cobra

Yeah I know it can't compete with the 03 or 04 Cobras but do ya'll think it's pretty much as quick as the 2001 Cobra?

Pretty much the mach 1 and 199-2001 cobra's are about the same they both have the 4v, but the cobra's have IRS and the mach's have solid axle. Personally I would take a mach 1 over a '01 cobra

The mach1 motor has higher compression and cams for more tq. I might be bias but if were talking drag racing the mach should be a bit faster.

I don't know, but the Machs look badass, IMO. Based on the looks and the shaker hood, I'd take an 01 Mach over an 01 Cobra. But hell, talk about the ultimate opposite of "Pick your poison."
