I'm so torn between these two... SLP O/R X with LM2's or MRT CATTED H with BORAL STINGERS... I honestly love the sound of both of them... ahh.. people, please give me some reasons why or why not.. and yes, i know its like a $400 dollar price diff

well the OR Xpipe will yield slightly more HP and less TQ with a higher pitched sound, as the H pipe will give you more low end TQ less HP but a throatier sound. (information based on Sean Hylands 4.6 Engine Building Book)

i understand all the pros/cons of both, and even tho both catbacks are a straight through type system, the STingers just soudn to insanse uncatted. Im leaning more towards the H pipe, but i just dont know how it will sound with lm2s

I had LM2's and had to reduce the noise down to the Power Flo series. The first setup up was MAC OR Xpipe and SLP LM2's. WAY to raspy upshifting and downshifting. So bad I was embarassed to drive it. I sold those LM2's and changed out the mufflers for the Power Flo's. Thank god their system is interchangable.

from the vids ive heard, slp is definately more raspy than Stingers with a catted H, but the 400 bucks is kinda hanging me up. I'm never really cheap about anything, but ide love to put that money to gears. I plan to order tomorrow afternoon, and im still kinda torn between the two. Woulndt u think Stingers would sound better with a catted x since they are straight through? I Heard an uncatted x and h and it sounded like crapp.
