Default What gears are you running?

With all of the debates over what gears are best to go with, I thought it would be interesting to see what rearend gears our members have chosen to run in their Mustangs. Please take a minute to cast your vote and post a reply as to why and in what year Mustang you have them installed.

3.73 in 2000 gt. They give me good enough performance and dont kill me on gas. If gas was cheaper id go higher.

I agree, i run 3.73's in my 96 gt, they gave a huge difference in performance coming up from 2.73's but they arent a killer on the highway. I would not have gone any higher or lower. I am very happy with my choice.

i own a 2000 GT and have chosen to put 3.73 in. I never regret it and i wouldnt want to put anything more in because i plan to add a supercharger and dont want to be out of gear at the end of the 1/4mile. And by the way i havent noticed a decrease in gas mileage from the 3.27.

4.30's for my 02 GT. I had 4.10's in it originally, felt like I could get some more out of the car and I was pleased I did the swap.

I have a set of 4.10's for my Cobra. I'm waiting it out to see what I do with my Kenne Bell. If I stick with the Eaton blower I'll put the 4.10's in but if I ever get around to installing the KB, I'll keep the 3.55's.
