i have a 1999 Mustang GT w/ 70k, centerforce stage 1, CAI, Glasspacks, and a Hurst Short Throw, what do you guys think of buying a barley used vortec for 1500, does my motor have to many miles or is it ok to bolt it up, its a good deal but what do you guys think?

as long as it has been well maintained I see no problem in adding FI. It probably will shorten the life a little, but nothing drastic unless your pushing over 400whp

just do a compression test, but you should be good to go. bolt that on and fly

what does it all come with? v1 or 2? how many miles on the blower?

I personally don't think 70k is a lot of miles for a 4.6 that has been well maintained. 1.5K$ sounds like a good deal for a Vortec if you get all the parts and pieces to go with it and it's in good shape. Heck man, I didn't put my KB on until after 60k and I've had no problems, (knock on wood). Great, now tomorrow I'm going to loose a rod now that I said that.
