gears are great "cheap" mod, bout 600 installed. Shot of gas is a great bit more expensive mod. depends on what you get and how bigga shot. Wouldnt go over 125 shot on stock block tho.

4.10`s are a shorter gear. Therfore that means they rotate faster getting you up to speed quicker.
The numbers (rpm`s) will be different depending on what trans and gear you are running.
mind telling me what gears u think would be good for an 05 V6?

PS - sorry for taking ur thread, mind started thinking again
I would say 4.10`s will be your best for a 6er.
so how much would it cost to gear my mustang to 4.10's?

mustangtuning.com they cost 160$ but your speedo will be off so either buy a gear for it, or buy a colab for 100 or a tuner for 350$ i went with tuner

what would make a better difference? the only reason i would go with a custom tune is because i have no idea what to do with a tuner....and im an electronics freak and ALWAYS have to know what every little option does...and i dont wanna mess up my car....so which would honestly be better?
