Default 2004's with O/R X

Who has a 2004 GT with O/R X that did not require an O2 Wire Extension Harness? I heard you can just remove the wire from the trany bracket to get more slack. Yay or nay?

I don't know about that. I had an h-pipe installed ( I know not an x) And they actually spliced extra wire into the existing wires so I didn't have to buy extensions. It's a long way to go.
