RE: installed my 3.73s
When you have 4.10's is first gear good for normal driving or do you start in second? I want 4.10s but im affraid that first gear will praticly be useless and run out quickly besides racing...

Any idea on how much of an acceleration improvement?

I too just had my 3:73's installed and i love them. The acceleration was a big improvment over the stock gears and my 150 mile drive back to school today was great in mpg and rpm's.

Got my 3.73's and they're awesome. I highly recommend gears. If only I would have known about how good it feels to drive the car now, I would have went with them when I first got the car. Gears(3.73, 4.10, 4.30, etc...) are the way to go.

Well one thing that should be taken into consideration is the value of the car as a daily driver. Yes, some people are crazy (like my mom) and drive their Mustang in the winter or on days of bad weather. Although 4.10's and 4.30's will give a nice kick, it may do so at an inappropriate time.
