Hey, I'm gonna be getting some new exhaust for my 04 GT pretty soon and I wanted to see what people are runnin on their stangs and what some guys recommend. I've been looking at the Steeda stainless steel for the GT version.... is that a good set or anything better? Also, what else would I need to have to change for the new exhaust system?

my magnapacks should be here any day now, i went with those because of the all stainless construction, and i have heard nothing but good things about them, right now i have weld in flowmasters that came with the car from the previous owner, i love that sound, but i didn't want the aluminized to rust

check out mustangexhaust.com to see what sound you like...I think I am about to go with the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back....I am a little iffy because I want SS though but well see

I have a Magnaflow cat-back on my 98 and I love it. It's kinda quiet at idle, but it sounds great when you open it up

I've heard sound clips for the first two... does anyone know where I can find a sound clip of the Steeda Stainless Steel for the 4.6L GT?

I've got O/R X and welded Flows on my girl, and it just screams at WOT... lot of fun, cept it does drone a lil bit... That's what the stereo is for tho.

If I may put my $.02 worth in this discussion. I did a lot of the same research before I made my decision in January. I finally chose the Magnaflow Magnapack system. They are all stainless, straight through design, relatively quiet while cruising (at least in the cabin) but they scream at WOT. I absolutely love them and highly recommend them.
