I have never been able to have anyone confirm it for me,, but I have always suspected that they are pretty similar.
(as far as being loud, and very toned) is this true?
i just got the second best thing imo which is lm2's.

RE: dont hear much about borla on here?????
i have quite a few freinds with Bassani and im sorry but i just dont like the sound at all. it sounds like they have a exhaust leek or something and when they rev it up it sounds kinda ricerish...i guess its just not my cup of tea. i havent heard the Borlas but im looking for a differnent sound also...i have 2chamber flows w/o/r H-pipe and absolutely love the "old school" sound but would just like to hear something differnent i guess. a sound clip would sure be nice!

Borla Stingers & MAC o/r H
EDIT: actually, the more and more i watch that video, the less i like it,, it doesnt really do any justice for the sound or volume of the car, except for at start up, and right around 16 seconds when it drops down to the burble sound.. i need some new videos

The reason you don't hear much about Borla (any catback really) is the same reason you don't hear a whole lot about bassanni. Alot of people don't want to pay 550$ (or 600$ for Bassanni) on a catback when they can find flows for close to half that, and everything else for well under 500.
In my opinion though, if you're looking for a great sound, that is not NEARLY as common on the street, then those two are by far your best bet in the catback market.
I have the Stingers paired with the stock shorty headers and a MAC o/r H pipe. I can't describe how happy them make me.
If you already have an o/r X, expect them to be very loud, especially at WOT. And as with nearly every catback paired with an o/r midpipe, you'll get a bit of rasp, not much, but some.
Stingers with an o/r H (such as mine) have a tad from about 2500rpm to 3300 at WOT
