Default Motor Mount

So today i got new breaks, and then the mechanic asks if i have heard a clunck sound, and i said yes....summed up, the bottom left motor mount is broken. He said its 200 in labor to fix it, and i have to find the mount. Sooo does anyone think i can do it myself and/or where can i find the mount for my 97 gt.

search ebay for some poly motor mounts and yes you should be able to do the work. just put the car on jack stands. remove the mid-pipe. use a floor jack and a block of wood under the oil pan. remover the nuts off of the mount studs. raise the motor, unbolt the mounts from the block and then reverse the process.

That was my though as well, 200 is crazy, I would do it my self. I also would not go to ebay for nothing. Y don't you ask the dealer and tell them you work at jiffy lube and get there discount.

So, for Future reference:

If someone says "You should replace the LOWER LEFT Motor Mount," when indeed, there is no LOWER Left, just a LEFT, look them straight in the eye and say "Show me.."
