They will total it. Don't let that insurance guy BS you. If the damage is as bad as it sounds they will total it. They give rough estimates at the scene and then once they get inside they find that they can't fix it without buku bucks and total it out. Do not allow anything else to happen.

Truck didn't stop and the only witness that stopped didn't get the plate... and yes I did hit the way pretty much dead on at 60 MPH the left front hit a split second before the left but it was pretty dead on... I don't know if they doors will seal or not I am going to trailer it to the collision center right now and hopefully they will tell the insurance to **** off...

run it into a wall a few more time's that will fix it. Your sub frame's won't line up no more. I bet if they do fix it,,, that it will turn one way better than the other.

I would tell the company to send out a new adjuster. If you hit the corner like that and then tore up the side like that it should be totalled...no way that chassis is still straight.

ORIGINAL: Juiced 03 GT

On my way to the police academy on Wed I was run into the wall by a semi at 65 mph almost head on...

The insurance guy came out and said it was going to be at least $8,000 in repairs and it wasn't totalled (*air bags didn't go off either*)

I honestly don't want the car back I would rather them total it but if I have to keep it where should I get parts from...

The front fenders are smashed into the door, the front bumper is gone as well as the hood and the back has slight damdge the heaviest is the front bumper and the lightest is the rear... I want to go with cobra replacement parts for the front and sides...
If you talk with a body shop for an estimate, you can get them to total it. Insurance adjusters don't repair cars. I had an adjuster give me a $400 estimate for a side swipe on a '99 Contour (fender door, minor denting). The real bill was $2000. You have the right to choose which shop you take your car to...I generally choose a resto shop, even for beaters.
