you don't need a puller for the carrier bearing i have never used one

+1 the carrier bearings just slid on and off they are not pressed. You will not need to pull any bearings because you have new gears. But might I suggest getting a pinion set up gear from precison Gear Precision Gear Website This helped me alot when I was setting the pinion depth.

Thats pretty cool. I didn't know they had a setup like that. I got the FRPP gears so I wont need anything like that.....as long as I calculate the pinion depth correctly by using the MHD technique (can only be used with FRPP gears).
