Default high rpm miss...???

my car is missing from like 5500-redline...list of mods below...I took the tune out of it because it was missing worse..wtf? 105 phoenix heat and 91 octane the culprits? I've heard pro flow MAF blow? true? help.

the heat could do it... what is the state of your spark plugs?

Could be it's leaning out at thoses rpm's and the hot air isn't going to help that situation at all. MAF tuned to injectors? Rev limiter kicking in to low? I'm shooting in the dark here.

maf is tuned to 24lbs...how could the rev limiter be kicking in too early? I havent changed it..

Did your problem show up before it got hot there in AZ? Hot air is less dense than cold air, we all know that. If the problem just showed up with the increase in ambiant temps, it's probabley running to lean above 5.5K.

That is probably why it got better when you took the program out of it. It put it back to a more conservative tune.

ok, checked all the plugs...splitfires all look great...im thinking this is a MAF/AZ heat problem...anyone? I've heard the one I have is old school..and not well engineered? experience with ProFlow MAF?
