I just ordered a set of speed glo gauges and am totally lost. Just need to know what is the positive and negative wires for illumination in gauge cluster this d@^^n kit didnt even come with instructions. PLZ HELP????????????

i think the wire from the dimmer switch to the dash gauges is blue, but i can't remember exactly it's been so long. Best bet is to pull the cluster out and test for voltage with a multimeter. and for ground, just find a good ground point somewhere back there.

What color blue though I have looked in chiltons and haynes and looked at wiring diagrams online but ther is three different blues just from light switch alone and five from inst. cluster itself ?????????????

I just looked in my Haynes manual at the instrument panel illumination system, and it looks like the wire your gonna need is Light blue/red. It shows that color wire coming from the fuse panel and that color wire goes to every single thing in your car that gets lit up.
