Default help me into the low 13s

i need help to get into the low 13 sec range. i cruise with about 20 fox body stangs and most of them are running faster than me, i got to change that
i am drivind a 97 steeda gt, here's what it has
4:10
x pipe with flowmasters no tailpipes ( most stangs out here don't run tailpipes)
cold air intake
275 17" tires ( will probably switch to drag radials)
would like to get it done with bolt ons, no nitrous, no blower this year, i will be getting procharger next spring.
i will go to nitrous this year if i have to, but one of the fastest n/a car is a 92 notch with all stock motor, gutted int, stock susp on 10" slicks running 13 flat. i would like to beat him on motor if i could. anyhelp would be good thanks

Assuming everything is listed...

PI intake swap, LT headers, o/r x pipe, udps (if not equipped), P&P PI heads with stage 1 cams, 75mm tb/plenum, and a good tune. That would put you in the low 13s, I would think. Maybe high 12's if you can hook. You also need to look at some suspension work to get power to the ground.

back pressure could be a pfoblem for your car you may need some sort of muffler

I have seen it proved about 100 times (both physically and mathmatically) that backpressure is a total myth. If you really wanted to you could cut the pipes off after the first set of cats, disable the 2nd set, and have no problems. you will probably make more power with the x in place, simply because it removes even more backpressure.

To get into the low 13s with your car you will need full boltons and a PI swap. However, if you plan on doing a blower later on the PI swap may not be for you, as it will raise your compression ratio.
