how to make a GT fast enough to kick the pants of a new LS1
lets here it guys, i have a 98 GT w/ a few bolt ons w/ full exhaust and short throw shifter 3.55 gears, used to have a chip but i brought it in to get a tire change and they stole it from me, no way to prove it. but tonight i got my a** handed to me by a 98+ LS1 and i've had enough,
my future plans were to get the KB blower but they have been dragging their feet for the last year. so what can i do, i want my car running low 12s, mid 11's.
i want this thing running good, and don't just say NOS either.

Turbo on a stock 4.6 can boost you up to 420HP... bigger injectors 550HP.. more PSI more engine work. Here's a Stage 1 kit that can get you 550HP for under $4200:

Stock LS-1 310HP.

LOL
Bro...you need to read up more man......adding fuel injectors won't get you 550, that should be included in proper fuel management. Also, I don't see myself trusting a non-cobra 4.6 to handel that much power.
ANd LS1's are UNDER RATED from the factory. Very little has to be done to them to get into the 11's.

unfortuantly I think most of the horsepower numbers you are posting are with PI heads though. Head swap is required to really maximise your numbers on a 98 and below.
