i had steeda 3 bolt cc plates at first on my car but one of them failed and I got a loud banging noise over bumps...if you can, see if there is any play at all in the center of the plate...switched to mm 4 bolt plates and the noise went away...

okay dudes, i'm super pissed off

the C&C plates are fine... the clunking was my strut tower bar, it was loose so i tightened that up and i don't hear the clunk, so that's set


as for the clutch weirdness

the clutch cable frayed up by the pedal, 1/2 the strands are broken...

so i can't driv emy car till i get a new cable, so i have to call UPR an dhopefully get a reimbursement

it's been on there for like 500 miles

You know you have to pull up on the clutch to adjust it after it is installed. If not try that. Good luck

Yeah no I understand I just didn't see you talk about adjusting your clutch by lifting up on it. I was letting you know for future reference.

UPR products are junk. Should be a lesson learned. Quick question, what rims are you getting?

okay well sorry then... i got rims off a 1994 mustang cobra

and i have the UPR quadrant/firewall adjuster

i'm gonna try to get them to give me a new cable, if not anyone know a good brand to get a cable that will work with upr's quadrant and firewall adjuster??
