Default sqeaky steering

my 04 gt has a loud creaking sound when i turn right. If i set there and slightly turn the wheel left to right over and over again it seems to make the sound from the rack and pinoin (i guess thats what mustangs have in them) bushings. is there a grease i can put in there or do i need new bushings?? help would be much appreciated because the car sounds old and rickety.

This has been a problem with the 04`s. Im pretty sure its the bushings. Take it to the stealer. It is still under warranty if you have under 36k.

I always spray my bushings and any moving parts in the steering with silicone every 2 months. This was a tip from my autos teacher when I was in HS. Im sure it wont help you at this point though. (Just a little tip for the future) It is possible it is another problem, but i`ve only heard about the bushings being a problem. Could also be a ball joint maybe.
