I bought a cat X-pipe. basically you won't hear anything impressive until you get on the throttle. from there it sounds pretty sweet...but i find myself missing the h-pipes low rumble and roar at wot quite a lot. if i had a chance to do it over...i'd have stuck with the H-pipes.

So you say:

A H-Pipe gives you growling and bubbling in deep RPMs and X-Pipes sounds well if you accelerate your car?

What do you all say to this two Combos:

http://www.completeexhaust.com/produ...roducts_id=605
http://www.completeexhaust.com/produ...roducts_id=276
costs: 794 Dollar

and

http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...st-system.html
http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...manifolds.html
costs: 895 Dollar

What will sound deeper let us say better for the folks outside the car. Or an other question: What exhaust system will sound BEST to a MAC H-Pipe?

yeah the H-pipes really give you a low rumble at idle and roar at full throttle. the X-pipes have a nice tone at idle and give a throaty scream at full throttle. it's really up to which you perfer more. right now im set up with the mac cat x-pipe and flowmaster force IIs. ive heard the magnaflows and i gotta say they sound pretty sweet. i'm not sure which version of the SLP i heard on a 2000 mustang GT but all i remember is that it was LOUD! lol...no j/k.

I think i will combo MAC H-Pipe and a Magnaflow but not the Magnapack Version.

But what is with back shooting sound? Will a H-Pipe produce back shooting sound?

back shooting?? like backfiring? it wont. or with the regulare magnaflow system it wont crackle like i think you mean when you let off the gas.

I had an H pipe with flows on my 01 Cobra and I loved every minute of that exhaust note. Got a lot of compliments about it and the best part was it wasn't obnoxious.

My neighbors 02 GT with LT's (dunno what brand), X-pipe, and muffler deletes is another story...
