ORIGINAL: 98GTpony

well im not 100 percent sure if its the a/c or not... Right when i turn on the car and the a/c is on the car makes a real quick squeaky noise then when it idles the squeaky noise comes back .... then i turned off the a/c and then started the car again and there was no noise... i have no idea what it is ... Does anybody know what it might be

I had a similar squeak when the A/C compressor engaged and disengaged. Came down to a failing A/C clutch. Easy to replace with a set of ramps and the proper tool to get the dang thing off.
