sorry to steal the tread, but I was quoted $275 total to take off my existing, crappy tint and add new tint. does this sound about right? I've heard removing tint was a PITA.

Thats not a bad price especially if they are removing the old tint. And yes you heard right about removing old tint. [:@]

yea...my friend is about to get his back to windows and his rear window re tinted..and they quotes him 220...so thats a good deal...
