First track run
OK my first ever visit to the track was a 1/8 mile. I ran a 9.41, is this a good time for the car I have? What would be a est. of a 1/4 mile run? Oh I have a nitrous kit but I cant shoot it yet, my motor is new and I still have 1400 miles before it is broken in so thats why the time is lower than it should be.

You should have faster times than that. A 9.4 will turn out to be a high 14 second 1/4 mile i think. I feel your pain too. I ran 9.4 with the mods in my sig. WTF!!!!! serioulsy, WTF!!!!!
I gave her a tune-up and my car feels better so hopefully i can get those times down. Also, its your first time, you will get better the more you go.

Plus I dont have it dyno tuned yet. Its just the stock tune. The shop told me I should tune it for NOS and everything else all at once so I save some money. Plus, I still use stock headers, but I dont think that should make a huge difference would it? Oh and I ran street tires.

no tune on a 125 shot, hmm if you ask me thats not such a good idea. for your first time id expect a not so good run so dont feel bad. youll probably shave a second off you 1/4 time just by practicing. and definetly get that tune asap.

my first run ever was with my vert the 2 days after i bought the car i did 10.6, ha ha the guy in front of me had a camaro dragster he did a wheelie and he crashed, so i was kind of nervous then my times where around 9.4-9.5 stock (no bad for a heavy vert), with exhaust, pulleys cai, tb, my lowest time is 9.27 with the stock tires as well, with my rear 275/40/17 toyo proxes t1s with 25psi i did 9.21 launching at 2500rpm
