I have heard those chips really don't work well... But I will leave it to someone else to answer that part because I really dont have any experience with them.
With LT's you would see about 15 rwhp, possibly 18 rwhp with a tune, from the headers alone, which is pretty damn good.

Ya the chip i got becuase the place i get it from was Horsepower by herman which is the one of the leading 5.0 and 4.6 mustang shops on the east cost. i just tell them what i want and they order the best for me
