Default pictures of heat shield for jlt rai

im tryin to get my heat shield on finally because i never installed it but it seems it wont fit. all it is is one bolt but it just seems like it will never fit in there nomatter what i do. soo if anyone has a pictures of their system with their heat shield on it will help me out alot. thanks

I have heard of them not fitting before, you just have to modify it to make it fit

hey Master i just heard ur video and sounds pretty good, u running a mild cam? sounds bad ***.

and yeah u do have to modify it to make it fit. u might have to boar out the holes a little using a 3/8 stepbit.

Mine fit just fine. You only use the top mount from your old filter box. I bought new hardware for this and saved the stock hardware. You do have to push the bottom of the sheld under the filter and then pull it up to where it mounts.

though I had some shots of this but I must have deleted them.

I had to fight with mine a little to get the stock bolt to line up but it only took 5 minutes and a little patience.

yea its a little tricky to get in but i can 100% guarantee it fits in my 98 GT, as for the other cars i cant vouch as much but im pretty sure itll fit!

Yes, I gained almost 2hp with it and it really made my A/F consistent.
