245-45-17?will they fit on 17x9 rims?
I just got new tires. WHen I bought the car and im soon hoping to get rims because mine are ugly! Would the 245-45-17 fit on the 17x9 because right now if im correct the rims I have are 17x8

yea but the rim will stick out a lot past the tire. So if you curb, you will hit all rim.

Some tires have a rim protector on them so you dont damage your rims from curbs. My F1`s do.
