Default fuel filter

I just got a fuel filter from my dealer, I figured while I have the car up for the stupid clutch cable i'll do some good

anything special? It looks like the filter is bolted to a bracket, and then it has the 'quick disconnect' on each end... i have all the tools to do this, just wanting to know ifa nyone ran into anything while doing theirs

took me like 5 minutes to do mine. theres a clamp to unscrew, then 2 plastic clips to pull out. lots of rags would help.

Ya I mean lots of rags! I smelt like gas for 2 days and I took a shower right after I did that. Talk about a headache!

just disconnect the shut off switch in the trunk and run the engine for a few seconds, that way you won't get sprayed

Yeah, you are supposed to relieve the pressure before you change the filter.

There is a valve by the fuel injectors on the rail. Looks like a tire valve. Let the pressure out there then you won't get soaked with gas.
