I want to lower my car

to lower my car do i have to buy new shocks as well as springs or just the lowering springs?

how long will the stock shocks and struts last witht he lowering springs? like h&r ss's? those are pretty low.

yes it will.

it'll kill your stock shocks and struts at an increased rate.

yea it'll be hell on your struts with the H&R SS's. I have H7R's and i love the drop, but I ended up blowing my drivers side strut. If you are 79-04, you can get 93 GT shocks and struts to compliment your H&R springs. They will ride like stok when lowered and are about 1/2 the price of performance shocks/struts. Look in the How-To section for my write-up on the install of all of these! Have fun!

seems like from the clunking and banging from my rear end ( the car's actually) that it seems like my stockers were bottoming. Switching to illuminas did the trick.
