well as I have learned in my wisdom
if you buy a car remember you arent buying the big number yet you are paying the smaller number. If what you want is newer sometimes you gotta lower your standards. If I were you and I'm gonna finance a car WTF would you finance a car with 100k miles plus? and If I was paying cash why not drop 10g's on a new car in exchange for a smaller note? If you are financing a 100k car you are opening a world of debt. you will have to maintain the car like so: rotors water pump radiator battery alternator etc. It dont fly in my opinion
go<nogo
I don't know about all that, just because it has 100k miles doesnt't mean you shouldn't look at it as a worthwhile investment. I bought my car with 109k miles and it has been nothing short of excellent. Heck,my first car,a 1997 Mustang, had 146,000 miles on it and I NEVER had to replace a thing on it. It's all about how a car is driven and taken care of. Anything can make it past 150k miles without problems as long as its cared for properly. The only downside to a 100k mile car is the resale value, but I sold my 97 stang for $1200 more than I payed for it. Ya just gotta know what to look for.

+1 im around 150 K now and i have no problems, i take care of the car. people nowadays act like if it breaks down after 100K it sucks but in most cases people just dont take the time to maintain their cars, its really not hard.

I know how to properly maintain a car, it's just that buying a used one with 100,000+ miles is hard to make absolutely sure it's been well maintained.
