there has been all this talk about nitrous lately and im gettin more interested.......how significant is it? ive never drivin or riden in a car with it...whats the safest shot i could run? and where and how much are they? just gimmie some more info on it thanx guys
NITROUS is the best power adder you can get for the price. you would be safe with a 100 shot thats the highest I would personally go.... but Ive seen people with 125 shots on their stock 2v

that would be me. 100 hp to the wheels is nice but the torque you get from nitrous is amazing. i have 4.10s and a auto that shifts hard. too hard fro 1st to 2nd that it actually bangs a little before shifting so puddling up is and issue without a window switch. i just used my diablosport tuner and made the shift firmness not as firm so it doesn't do it anymore. but make sure you get all the safety things so you don't have to rebuild your motor if it blows something

A guy I know in a Club I'm in, just got an '03 GT, and has a 100-shot.. He showed me the Dyno Graph and I nearly shat my pants..

He only had around 330HP to the wheels, but he had 455FT/LBS of F-CKING TORQUE!! I couldn't believe it... Oh, all he had otherwise, was a CAI and I think it was a Borla X-Pipe back...

I want Nitrous, but I'm still deciding..

I love the juice! While never having in on one of my vehicles, I have ridden in several GTs with it. There is nothing quite like the feeling of when the juice hits and you are planted in the seat. That being said, let me play the Devil's advicoate for a moment. I personally have decided to go with a SC for several reasons. 1. Nitrous is illeagel to run on the street (atleast where I live) so if only going to be used at the track then it is OK. 2. The power is always there! 3. I have seen several motors destroyed by nitrous (mainly a too big of shot on a stock motor with no tune, but the end result is not pretty) 4. SC is a one time charge. While a nitrous kit is way cheaper to start off with, if you use the juice alot you can end up paying way more over the life of the car to have the bottle filled. There is now doubt that it is the best bang for the back, and it is fun as hell, but just consider all aspects before making a decision.
