Production Number

Not sure if this is the right forum, probably should be off topic... I was wondering how to find out the production number of my car. ( # xxxx of xxxxx built ) Any way to do it just by reading the Vin? Thanks guys.

car fax would be your best bet, other than that no clue. yours is 1 of 16,846 oxford white 2004's

The number is in the VIN, it's the last group of digits, 5 digits I think... that'll only tell you the number in the production sequence... not how many were made in that color or anything, there's sites around that can tell you that, though.

Edit: Carfax won't tell you...
