Default I think I made a mistake...

I had a set of 4.10s put in and I think their great............................but.............. ...... I seem to run out of gear when racing......

2nd runs out @ about 55 MPH
3rd runs out @ about 85 MPH
4th runs out @ about 115 MPH
5th is a dog and just isn't for racing...

So, on the highway I can only run up to 115 MPH and that just seems to be to low to end a race..

On top of that, when my SC arrives in the next week or so I think that will only hurt me more.. I'm not so concerned w/ 1st & 2nd because I can combate that by getting wider tires.. 3rd & 4th should be a blast w/ a SC and 4.10s but again I'll run out of gear..

Maybe I should have kept my stock gears.. I just dunno.. [sm=boohoo.gif]

running out of gear at 115 is too low for you?...not to sound preachy, but at speeds like that, you shouldnt be racing (or even going that fast in general)

you got (or should have got) 4.10's because they are great for dig races down the quarter mile, or low speed roll races,, say 2500rpm in 2nd (my favorite)

from now on, just start your races a bit lower and just run to the end of 4th if you must drive so fast

you're gonna be wishing you had 3.73s atleast with the blower. Even doing the 1/4 on the track you will be running outta gear if those numbers are correct.

if you are complaining how 5th is a dog get a set of 4.30s then it will be real fun with a procharger and you can race through 5th
