98 4.6 question
Hey guys, i just bought my first modular stang(blew up my t-bird SC again) It is a 98 GT 5-speed with 3.73 gears, 2.5 inch off-road h-pipe into terminator bite me mufflers, a vortec supercharger kit 8 psi no aftercooler, 80mm MAFS, 75mm TB with hand ported upper plenum. im estimating 300 engine HP and about 265 to the ground. Is that about right? Well, im having a head problem, and i was going to go ahead and put PI heads and intake on it but i am worried about the compression raise. I dont want to spend money on some non PI heads because i know they are junk. I was also planning on 24# injectors and a SCT chip and tune when i swap. Any suggestions? Also assuming good altitude and all, what do you think my current setup runs at the track? i was hoping for a 13.8-13.9 with some good powershifts. the reason i dont know is i dont have a track anywhere close to me!!! thanks guys! -Hunter
