I have an automatic 2000 GT with a mac cat-back and a bassani x-pipe. I am interested in getting headers and don't know what to get. Can anybody help me out and give me some ideas as to what sounds good with this setup?

depends on if you are wanting to keep your bassani x and just get shorty headers or sell your bassani pipe, and get LT's and a shorty midpipe. Or just looking for shorty headers.
being an automatic your going to be limited on long tubes to slp and mac.


if you already have a bassani x you cant go wrong with a bassani headers

well the bassani x is brand new and was just installed so i'd want to keep it. and bassani only makes headers for manual. is it true that shortys dont do much though?

yup. but its still better than the stock exhaust manafolds

i found a set of BBK shortys..think those would be better than the MAC or does it not really make a difference?
